What is the Subaru Love Promise?

Subaru and our retailers believe in making the world a better place and the Subaru Love Promise is our vision of respecting all people. This is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.

The Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment

We believe in being a positive force in something bigger. And it all starts right here in our community. Not just by our donations, but by our actions.

That's why we stay true to our Love Promise Community Commitment by partnering with a wide variety of community nonprofits and charities.

Every year, we join hands with our owners in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to our community-a community that's given so much to us.

So, every day, we strive to ensure our love is felt not just by our customers, but by all in our community. We do this because we feel it is the right thing to do.

We are proud to participate in the Love Promise Community Commitment. We're grateful, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve and support the causes and passions that are closest to our hearts, right here in our neighborhood.

All of the organizations we support have one thing in common: the unwavering dedication to improve the world and the lives of its people.

Mechanicville Junior High School Green  –  Annie R

Mechanicville Junior High School Green

The students of Mechanicville Junior High School were excited to select an area in the school courtyard to plant and maintain the Subaru Loves the Earth garden donated by New Country Subaru. The students learned the importance of planting and maintaining a garden. The students, parents and Board of Education were very pleased New Country Subaru decided to donate to their school.

Another Subaru Loves to Care Moment  –  Christine K

Another Subaru Loves to Care Moment

Thank you to New Country Subaru of Saratoga and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Upstate New York/Vermont Chapter for delivering arts and crafts kits, blankets and messages of hope to pediatric patients at the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Med. We were honored to give our previous girl of the year, Markel Carras a very special blanket from Subaru. Through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, LLS chapters are joining participating Subaru retailers to deliver 38,000 blankets and messages of hope to cancer patients across the country, as well as donate nearly 500 arts and crafts kits to children battling the disease.

Act With Respect Always  –  Rich J

Act With Respect Always

My name is Rich Johns, President/Founder of Act With Respect Always (AWRA). New Country Subaru of Saratoga Springs, NY is making a difference every day. They have embraced our charitable organization to a level that has helped us grow regionally and now nationally. The Act With Respect Always mission has created a “butterfly” effect that started in my sixth grade class and nationally recognized tennis program. Our message of love fits so perfectly with Subaru’s message of “Share the Love.” Stressing honesty, teamwork, empathy, kindness, love and acceptance, AWRA strives to make everyone aware of their daily actions. Think kindness (love) first. New Country has taken this message and brings it every day in their environment sharing their love at a high level with every interaction. The AWRA message is displayed for all to see in their environment. People who visit New Country Subaru can honestly feel the love. I am so proud of them. Subaru’s more than generous donation to AWRA helps us to continue its important work seeing elementary to high school students, colleges, service groups, businesses, little leagues, youth basketball, softball, boy scouts and girl scouts, and athletic teams. Thank you for everything. Rich Johns Saratoga Springs, NY

The Saratoga Center for the Family works within the Saratoga Community attempting to strengthening families by reducing the effects of abuse, trauma, and family dysfunction through advocacy, education and mental health therapy. The agency was incorporated in 1978 as the Saratoga County Task force on Child Abuse and Neglect in Saratoga County. In 1993 the Task force changed its name to Saratoga Center for the Family to reflect the centers commitment to serving not only those who have been abused but to build stronger families and empower individuals with a goal of preventing abuse before it starts.
